Terms of Service

Atlas is a B2B SaaS review platform where verified professionals rate and review the software tools they use at work. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Atlas platform (the "Service"), operated by [TO BE COMPLETED] ("Atlas", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

To use Atlas, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Hold a verified professional email address at an employer. We use your email domain to verify your employer and ensure review authenticity.
• Optionally provide a LinkedIn profile URL to corroborate your professional identity.
• Create and maintain only one Atlas account per person. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, and keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose (honest professional reviews of B2B software) and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or any content you did not personally author.
• Scrape, crawl, index, or systematically extract data from Atlas by any automated means without our prior written consent.
• Abuse, harass, threaten, or defame any person or organization on the platform.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, or the proper functioning of the Service.
• Use the Service to promote spam, distribute malware, or engage in any form of illegal activity.
• Impersonate another person, create fake accounts, or misrepresent your employer or professional affiliation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

Ownership:you retain ownership of the review text and other content ("User Content") you submit to Atlas. By submitting User Content, you grant Atlas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt that content as part of operating and promoting the Service.

Authenticity rule: reviews must be honest, first-hand, and based on your own direct experience using the tool in a professional context. You must not:

• Submit a review of a product made by a company that is a direct competitor of your current employer. Atlas enforces this rule programmatically to protect platform integrity.
• Submit a review of your own employer's products or of a product you have a financial interest in promoting.
• Coordinate with others to manipulate ratings, solicit reviews in exchange for compensation, or artificially inflate or deflate a product's score.
• Submit a review for a tool you have not personally used in a professional setting.

Moderation: Atlas may review, moderate, flag, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law. We are not obligated to pre-screen content but reserve the right to do so.

Atlas allows verified representatives of software vendors to claim and manage their organization's profile ("Company Ownership"). By claiming an organization, you represent and warrant that:

• You are an authorized representative of that organization with authority to bind it to these Terms.
• All information you provide about the organization (company name, description, product details) is accurate and not misleading.
• You will promptly update the organization profile if material information changes.

Atlas reserves the right to revoke organization ownership if we have reason to believe the claim is fraudulent or the representative is no longer authorized.

All rights in the Atlas platform, including its design, source code, trademarks, logos, and content created by Atlas, are owned by Atlas or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use the Atlas name, logo, or brand in any manner without our prior written consent.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying software, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Service "as is":the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

User opinions: reviews and ratings on Atlas represent the personal opinions of the individual users who submitted them. Atlas does not endorse, verify (beyond professional identity), or take responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any review. You should conduct your own due diligence before making purchasing decisions based on reviews.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Atlas and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Atlas in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (EUR 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Atlas and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• your use of or access to the Service;
• your breach of these Terms;
• your User Content; or
• your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

By you: you may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. Upon account deletion, your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Your reviews are retained in anonymized form to preserve the historical integrity of the platform.

By Atlas: we may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We may also discontinue the Service entirely upon reasonable notice.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [TO BE COMPLETED].

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the platform, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
